“Had a day out with Rich on 8th April. In all honesty I wasn’t expecting much. It’s a difficult time of the year and I knew that a combination of dirty water and small tides was going to make life even more difficult. On the plus side it was a great forecast so I knew I’d still have a great day at sea. What I wasn’t expecting was to go home with a bag of 15 fish and that’s after chucking quite a few, around the 40cm mark, back. Rich’s knowledge of the local ground really paid off and whilst other boats steamed 20+ miles off shore we sat tight under the cliffs uptiding. A brave move at this time of the year but it definitely paid off. Great day with a great skipper. Highly recommend.”

“This has been the best little zoo I've been too! Feels like such a personal experience, the staff really engage with you and spend the time to tell you about the animals and answer any questions you have. They're very knowledgeable and approachable. They also had a few animals out that we could interact with when we went, we got to stroke the skunk, the ferret & hold an owl as well as interacting with the emu & wallaby when walking round (not the monkey in the pics though, that's the keepers hand I don't want to encourage anyone to interact with any animals without asking or being told to do so) . The animals all clearly love their lives there and they're so obviously looked after brilliantly, it's an absolute pleasure to see and we will definitely be back again soon!”

“Great service and lovely people. I recently booked a fairly last minute holiday with Lisa. From the moment I sat down she established what was important for me and together we went through the options before setting on a week in Turkey. She gave me the benefit of her professional experience and I we settled on a deal. This is where it gets interesting because in my haste I neglected to check if my child’s passport was in date which it wasn’t. With exactly 1 week until the holiday I thought I had no chance but I went back in to seek some advice. Lisa had gone on holiday and to be honest I didn’t expect much help from the other staff as working in sales myself I know what it can be like but I could not have been more wrong. All the staff in that day pitched in with ideas and thanks to them I knew where to start and I got my boys passport a day before flying. The reason I mention this albeit in my own long winded way is that I’m sure that I would probably have saved a few quid booking my holiday myself but the value that this company bought to the table is worth that 10 times over. We had a wonderful holiday and this place has a customer for life so thanks again x”

“Its a great day out for the family. There is a lot to do for people of all ages. You can buy animal/fish food from the front desk. The little ones can play in the park areas that are around the farm. They keep the animals in good, happy condition. There are ample safety warnings around to make sure people and animals are as safe as possible.”

“This is a lovely little place with lots to do! We visited in October with our nearly 3 year old. weather was good if a little windy. Nice mixture of indoor and outdoor areas. I've given it five stars. Areas that could be improved is a bit more communication from staff as having never visited before we didn't know where things were located. Or what the tractor ride entailed. But all we had to do was ask! Definitely recommend a visit. We will be going back in the spring.”

“Me and my boyfriend visited this store recently to potentially book our 4th holiday. We had been booked in with Georgina as she has been with us from the start and she knows what we like and dislike. She is very accommodating and is full of recommendations and suggestions on how we can have a stress free holiday! We originally went in just looking for prices for a 7 night cruise and ended up coming out with a smile on our face and another holiday to add to our collection! “A great day out for the whole family. Good value for money. Beautiful lake & koi fish for children to feed & enjoy. There are clean toilet facilities, lovely cafe with outdoor seating & good food. A tasty ice cream stall & a play area for children. There is ample car parking. A place to enjoy the tranquil surroundings, gorgeous flower beds, a rockery garden. A nature lover’s paradise of sheer tranquility with a staggering number of stunning plants. A small lake with the beauty of lily pads great place for artists to try their hand. Really fascinating & relaxing to spend a few hours here. There are many benches & seats for picnic with the kids. The purple iris swaying in the breeze in front of the lake is a sight to behold!! Clean. Exceptionale surroundings. A must visit 10/10 ❤️❤️”

“We visited here on Bank Holiday Sunday whilst staying locally. We expected it to feel busy due to the craft fair, classic car show and the nice weather but it didn't feel that way. Admission includes access to gardens, house (now fully open) and zoo. There is something for all the family with the house being an interesting walk around - something to see in every room and a little hunt trail for younger visitors to do. The grounds are beautiful and have a children's play area with plenty of places to sit and take in the scenery and serenity. The classic car show was an added bonus to visit. There are plenty of toilets to use and although the cafe always had a queue the small shop and ice cream kiosk were both open with friendly staff and reasonable prices. The zoo was a great little walk around, lots of birds, penguins (fed at 3pm with a talk lasting 20 minutes too) and hooved animals. They do have a walk through Avery but it didn't appear to be open.”

“I will turn 50 on Christmas Day so wanted a very special holiday where I don't have to lift a finger for once! Alison was fantastic, giving me several options within our specs and as a result, we fly out to Mauritius next Tuesday which I honestly can't wait for! The flight specs weren't the most basic either, meaning we get a very generous baggage allowance and the ability to move seats for free which we have already taken advantage of to ensure maximum space around us! “This was the first visit back to the park since Covid and was happily surprised at some of the new things there. The kids loved the play area, seeing the animals, (though there wasn't as many as usual) and the land train ride. With lots of space for a nice walk, or for kids to burn off their excess energy, it's a must for all ages to visit for a lovely day out.”

“Excellent quality aquarium positioned on the Humber just down from the bridge. Good size car park but you do have to pay £3 even with a full price ticket. Lots to see and interactive with inside, nicely laid out with plenty of space, clean tanks and happy looking fish! The main tank is pretty amazing and they make the most of it with plentiful ways to view it including a glass bubble elevator ride at the end! Good cafe with hot and cold food plus a brilliant, well stocked gift shop on the exit. We stayed 3 hours including a quick cafe stop. Highly recommended.”
